The quality of this exhaust is great, especially for the price. There were a few tiny blemishes on the exhaust near the welds, but otherwise, it's perfect. This slip-on really opened up my bike and made it sound great. It's not too loud but it is definitely noticeable when compared with the stock pipe. It was easy to install (took < 10 mins). I would highly recommend this product if you want a slip-on that is aesthetically pleasing and has a great sound!

First of all, customer service is through the roof. Ordered by phone late on a Friday evening. The Gentleman said he would ship it the next day, Saturday, after answering a slew of questions I had. He did, and I installed the exhaust on Monday when it arrived! Now that is fast shipping. But it just kept getting better. Upon opening the box, this is a very high quality exhaust, with fit and finish both excellent. I noticed the stock can was really cheap in design and quality when removing it. Then I started the bike with the IXIL installed. Wow! I have put about 1,500 miles on it and I could never go back. It performs flawlessly in all riding conditions, fueling perfectly with no other modifications. I now feel like I am riding a liter bike. This exhaust is gorgeous sexy in looks and sound. Thanks a million ixil!

I was worried it was going to be to loud as I don't really want the super screaming aftermarket exhaust but I love this thing, very well balanced I can still crank my Bluetooth Sena and I don't have to hear the pipe unless I want too. Sounds great when you get on it but the wind eventually over powers it so don't worry about traveling and think it will annoy you. Nice quality less than 2 pounds vs that 17 pound stock thing I think the bike is 470 wet now. This review is for a 2013 cb1000r

First appearance if the unit it's small and compact leaving you to wonder how loud it's going to be until you pick it up and inspect. It has very nice welds and looks as though someone actually took the time to give each spot it's needed attention, it carries a little weight which implies that it is not just an empty "Y" but that it has baffling inside the unit and to top it off it has beautiful aluminum ends that are angled and match each other. The only down side was having to modify the inlet to make it fit properly into the decat pipe made by the same company, although it fits properly into the factory cat with no issues at all or modification needed, this makes sense as decat and l2x is installed for less restriction and better flow. The sound that rolls out of the pipe is unique and puts a smile on your face with the cat removed it's not too loud and can cruise down the highway without ear plugs. strongly recommend this if you want something of quality finish and bonus of easier access to rear wheel for repair.
