Unbeatable Sound

Youtube videos do serve this exhaust justice. The real sound without the DB killers is mind blowing. I love the fact my fz09 is a triple and really wanted it to have that rumble instead if the high pitch you get with most inline 4s. This exaust lets everyone else know its a triple

Outstanding exhaust for my XSR900

I am thoroughly impressed with this exhaust system. The quality of this full system is excellent, and the sound that emanates from the dual tips is pure magic. I kept the DB killers in and even with earplugs, the sound is perfect (for me). From a performance standpoint, the stock system was much heavier, and my XSR900 runs perfect with the new system from IXIL. I am very pleased with this product. It looks great too.

The hyperlow exhaust is a great sounding, good looking exhaust. It's well built, and provides good performance, not to mention you can't beat the price! I've gotten lots of compliments on this exhaust. Delivery was quick, got to my place three days after ordering it. Took about 15mins to install.

It did just what I wanted it to. It smoothed out the throttle cutoff dive abruptness increasing the overall rideability and it looks and sounds awesome. Great workmanship. The only issue is the header bolts are obscured behind the pipes making it a bit tough tighten properly without buying a new wrench.

l3x hyperflow adds an amazing look to my fz-09 and gives you some options on how loud you want your ride to be (ie db killers in, out, or one in/one out)... easy install and great price!

Good Choice for FZ09

Looks good, Welds look solid, Sounds good. Performs about the same as the stock exhaust. Installed with vcyclenut's ECU Flash. Only one complaint. The pipe had a lot of welding slag inside from the welds. I recommend IXIL remove the welding slag out of the inside of the pipe b4 shipping.

I found Ixil exhaust watching a YouTube video. Fell in love with the striking style. I love the MV Agusta Brutale triple pipe look and I was instantly drawn to this exhaust.
The sound is amazing zero complaints. I do have the silencers out. I think the look of the two pipes without the silencers looks much better and I like the deeper sound.
I did receive 10% off from just registering at FZ-09.org
I originally purchased the silver exhaust but they emailed me saying they don't have the silver and it would take a while to get it so I ordered the black, which actually looks really good on my bike. The nice gentleman that I talk to gave me a discount again because the black cost a little bit more. Awesome customer service A+
With a couple people on reviews that said the install was a little bit challenging with getting the nuts off the headers, I myself had no problems the person might of not have the right tools. And for them to say they needed to get extra nut for mounting the exhaust under the bike is selfish because the nuts which are on stock exhaust could be removed because most people have no use for stock exhaust and you would be using the original bolt, why not reuse the original nut as well. It takes a screw driver to pry out the nut which is held very loosely on stock exhaust.
Ok enough about that. Everyone buy this exhaust. It's cheap and the look in my opinion is the best out there. I think it looks better than almost all Akrapovic exhausts which are over a grand. Hope this helps.

awesome sound & great performance

The FZ 09 from the factory had a tuning problem, ran rich. It also sounds like absolute trash with the OEM exhaust.
One reason this is not 5 stars is because the way the headers show with the can looks strange because they are not black. I am going to have them ceramic coated, but it would have been a nice touch from the IXIL guys, seems like a bit of an oversight. However it is not bad looking, just me being picky! The pipes will also get that slight blue heat tint on them after running them about 30 miles.
The other reason this is not 5 stars is because of the header crossbars. The middle header's bolts are hard to reach when you are trying to install them, it takes a while to get them on all the way and its easier if you remove one of the hoses from the pump. Other than that install is super simple the only thing other than tools you will need is a nut for the back of the hanger.
The IXIL logo on these pipes will be hidden behind your rear set which is nice but unintentional... (Not a logo guy, sorry!) But this exhaust is beautiful.
If you're looking for loud, good sounding exhaust... It sounds very similar to a full akrapovic system on an R1. Very throaty, and I ride it with the baffles out. In person I have heard the Akra full, M4 slip on, Marthy exhaust and a cheap ebay tip (essentialy a straight pipe), I can highly reccomend this exhaust over them.
You won't be disappointed with this.

Sexy, smooth, smokin' hot!

IXIL USA had immediate attention to my order and shipped very quickly. I received my box in less than one business week.
Packaging was tight, wrapped well and provided almost everything I needed. There are no instructions but the installation is extremely straight forward and easy to manage. I could have used a new nut for the rear exhaust mount.
The pipe is gorgeous. The headers have a smooth lustre and a great bronzey finish. Exhaust looks great tucked under the bike and sounds phenomenal.
I went with the no baffle option. It's loud but not overly obnoxious. More throaty and still carries that distinct triple cylinder sound.
I love it!
